Electronic Arts has recently announced the new version of their first-person shooter war game Medal of Honor. Reinventing the classic, bringing the game series into the modern age and deploying it to Afghanistan seems to be the way to do it, while at the same time they promise that this will be "the most authentic modern war experience", to be expected for fall 2010.

The UK preorder is already up and the game is currently in development at EA Los Angeles and DICE, responsible for the game's single-player and multiplayer components, respectively. The Official Website will surely keep you busy and you can always watch the trailer over and over, if you are/were a big fan of Medal of Honor.
