2010 is here to stay, at least for 1 year, and this weekend we will have the first Kode5 2010 qualifier in Spain, a competition for the local teams only. The winner will get the ticket to the global finals that will be disputed later on this year, in a place yet to be confirmed.

Levelup internet cafe in Zaragoza is the place to be if you want to watch this event, live. As usual you willl have the HLTV option if you want to sit back on your sofa and watch some great Counter-Strike action.

As expected Ledpc won the Kode5 qualifier, beating Lastshow that came from the losers bracket into the grand final, right on the first map. Team Unibet got the third place.

The competition has already started and in Groups A and C we already know the final results, while B and D are somehow delayed. The funny thing is that some of the delay was originated by a shortage of fuel in the car that the team DesTroys was using for travelling to Zaragoza. They almost got it, but had to make a stop at the boxes, more or less 20km from the finish line, when the car ran out of fuel :)

Ledpc is the top ranked team for this event and although they will have to face some other good teams, x6tence won't attend the competition as they seem not to be in a very good shape at the moment and some of their players will be playing for other teams at this tournament.
