After a 2009 year full of victories with some changes in between and surprising announcements, such as /< Quick's retirement, today we will be announcing the renewed K1ck Counter-Strike team lineup for 2010. Renewed as a matter of speach, because the player coming in is already a well known face in K1ck eSports Club.

In fact, Tiago "/< weapoN" Pacheco is returning to a team with whom he won several tournaments, including the LG Master Cup 2008, the highest prize money so far achieved by our Counter-Strike.

The sad part of the news is that Fernando "spec" Sousa is leaving, after a great performance in Jönköping, playing the Dreamhack tournament and where the team achieved an honorable 5th place, being nominated for the 2009 AK Award in the category of Revelation Player of the Year.

The k1ck.cs roster that will be representing our club at the next events is once again:

/< weapoN told us that "It was hard leaving my team mates, but we weren't achieving all that we wanted to. It is rather pleasing going back to where you have your own identity. I am very happy about the way things turned out to be."

Pretty soon you will be able to watch our team perform live, now that this new Counter-Strike year has started, hopefully without the bumps of 2009 such as the collapse of ESWC and the shortage of support for the WCG.
