Clanbase is no More
Written by  Spirit - Monday, 23 December 2013  (5 Comments )

From time to time we have to write some sad news and this is one of them. The place where some of us got really involved in online gaming is no more, as Clanbase has closed the doors for good. Once the biggest website running online leagues, it has been decaying throughout the years to a point where nobody would even visit the place, so this Final Statement by the Clanbase crew was somehow expected.

Running Quake, Unreal Tournament, Counter-Strike and Call of Duty series competitions, along with many more titles, K1ck has a full trunk loaded with Clanbase awards, but it is in Enemy Territory that I will miss it the most, as we have played many ET matches in the ladders, cups and Eurocups, some of them really entertaining.

Anyway, what is done is done, so let's reminisce about the good times that we've spent there in these last 15 years of existence (almost the same age for K1ck and Clanbase), and say thank you to all the dedicated crew that ran the competitions, putting a lot of effort in the process, many of them for free. Long live Clanbase!
