After the fuss regarding SLTV's season VIII, all has come to terms and K1ck will be competing at the SLTV Counter-Strike Global Offensive Season IX tournament. Once again we will fight for a final placement in the top half, as we have done in the previous seasons, but this time we have the extra motivation of trying to secure a place in the LAN finals and actually get invited to be in the Kyiv Cybersport Arena on April, along with three more teams. The prize pool has increased and is now $30 000, which has once again attracted the best Europeans teams to the competition.

SLTV StarSeries Season IX

Prize Pool:

1st place — $15 000

3rd place — $5 000

Participants: 16 teams

Online Group Stage Start: February, 19th

Online Group Stage End: March, 31st

LAN Final: April, 10th - 13th

— Group Stage: All of the sixteen teams will play one match against other participants. For each win, a team gets 3 points, 1 point for draw and 0 for loss. All these matches will be played Online.

— Final stage: The final will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine in the biggest gaming center of Europe - Kyiv CyberSport Arena. The best teams will play in Double Elimination bracket. All matches, except the grand final, will be played in Bo3 system and the final will be played in Bo5 system with a 1:0 advantage to the team from winner's bracket.
