Xbox destroyed with Explosives
Written by   - Tuesday, 29 March 2011  (2 Comments )

The ancient Xbox consoles had a major problem, as when the Red Ring of Death did appear  usually meant that the console was no longer operable. This was solved when the Xbox 360 Slim edition came out, fixing the problem and assuring that the RRoD was a thing of the past. But many old consoles are still on the market and this news is about a Russian guy who decided to have some fun with the console, after the RRoD appeared, as you can see in the news video.

Xbox 360 destroyed with explosives

The first thing that one should say is "Do Not Try this at Home!". That being said, Dimitri is one of those guys that had problems with his consoles, having decided that his fifth RRoD on a console would suffer a different destiny than the previous ones. Remember that this is not a working device but just a console that would not be working again for a cheap repair price.

He opened some holes in the Xbox with his pistols and vented the console with the shotgun but the highlight is when the explosives blast it into tiny pieces, never to be found again according to the video director. For people that should be wondering why such rage, they probably never owned a console with the infamous RRoD or felt the need to take it on some unanimated object. Luckily for us who do have Xbox 360 consoles with no such problems, the problem is solved for a while now.
