After three days of intense Counter-Strike activity and 47 matches later, the winner of the Dreamhack.pt qualifier is known and it goes by the name K1ck eSports Club. Going all the way through the entire tournament without even losing a map, on the final game k1ck had to face exotic and we won the Best of Three match in two straight maps with the score [16:12] in de_inferno and [16:07] in de_nuke.

Next Stop: Jonkoping for the Dreamhack Winter 09.

This Friday starts the biggest Counter-Strike tournament of 2009 in Portugal with the top teams in the country all lined up for a fierce fight and a presence in Jonkoping at the Dreamhack Winter 09. No more bets, the winner takes all and you can follow the matches, results and classifications through our Coverage News that includes the Full Groups and Matches for the first stage of the competition and also the Playoffs Brackets.

The finalists that will be playing the Counter-Strike Portuguese Dreamhack Winter qualifier are now 20, as 4 more teams have joined the list of the previous 16, by getting their passport throught the online qualifier.

The first 16 teams to engage in the Counter-Strike Portuguese Dreamhack Winter qualifier are already known. As defending champions, k1ck are the main favorites but the other teams won't give up that easy on the chance of travelling to Jonkoping.
