Times they are a-changin, just like Bob Dylan's song says, and K1ck eSports Club will go with the flow in this case. It's been a great run all these years, but sooner or later we all knew that something like this would eventually happen. As many of you have been wondering and asking around, K1ck will stop playing Counter-Strike quite soon. Although we might reunite the team that achieved so much in the past years for some special occasions and big CS tournaments, our main goal has changed and Counter-Strike Global Offensive is a must in our Club. So today we would like to announce our
k1ck.csgo team that will attend
Dreamhack Valencia, as several changes have been done in the lineup, some expected, some not so much expected.

First of all, we would like to thank so many people that supported our Counter-Strike team through almost a decade that it's almost impossible to write down names. Then we would like to highlight the dedication that the players in the current team have demonstrated towards K1ck, some like our outstanding captain
coachi for almost 4 years now, and wish the best of luck in the future for those that are not part of the CS:GO team, but who knows, may come back one day in different circumstances.

As
Dreamhack Valencia has changed its main competition to Counter-Strike Global Offensive instead of Counter-Strike, we felt the need to change the players that will attend the event carrying the k1ck tag. So we have welcomed back two icons from our former Counter-Strike Source teams, complementing it with a new face in our Club and maintaining two players from our current team.
Here is the
k1ck.csgo team that will travel to
Valencia:

A few words from
Ricardo "k1ck-fox" Pacheco regarding this move:
"Today we have officially announced the change into CS:GO. As a part of this organization, I am grateful for the commitment and effort that the former players had towards the team, namely
coachi,
axon and
rmn, but we think that this CS / CSS mix is the best solution. Thank you all for supporting us for so long and I hope that you will keep rooting for the team."
Counter-Strike is dead. Long live Counter-Strike!
