An interesting article was published in arstechnica.com, using the Chess Grandmaster Garry Kasparov trip to  South Korea's Youth Mind Sports Fair to launch the following discussion to the table: What video games will still be widely played in 100 years? Do any of today's titles have the staying power of Chess... or even Monopoly? Something that everybody was expecting to happen in League of Legends was announced by Riot, as they have introduced the Team Builder concept into the game. This new role selection tool lets the players choose their role of champion before the champion select, building a balanced team where everyone’s in agreement, instead of creating a flame war each time you want a role that is already taken. The company behind the game that has a playerbase of 32 million monthly active players (11 million last November), is always trying to offer a better game experience to the gamers, paying close attention to the general public opinion.

Now that the League of Legends Championship Series Season 3 is over and  SK Telecom T1 has been crowned as the best team on the planet, more exciting news for the 2014 season have been revealed by Riot. In fact they will be running a league for the Challenger tier of competitive play in LoL, which is always a good news, but the best part is that Coca Cola (or Coke) Zero is the chosen partner. This new still unnamed league will run in Europe and United States alongside next year's LCS and will be a gateway to LCS for the top ranked Challenger players.
