The Spanish League of Legends scene has a new contender for the top places, as  Dimegio has presented a new team with some well known faces in the community. Coming from Wizards and the recently torn to pieces Giants team, this group of players has the LVP's Final Cup as main goal.

The League of Legends international scene is always in constant change with the organizations trading teams and replacing players. Although this time we write about a change in  Gambit Gaming, the other part of the news is a little different, as the  Giants LoL team has come to an end, at least in the format we know it. In fact, the players' contracts have not been renewed and they are free agents as of August the 1st.

And once again another scandal has come into the general public knowledge, this time involving League of Legends, the  Monster Gaming team and what is commonly known as ELO boosting, a way to artificially increase the players' LoL rating that uses the ELO system. According to a topic posted in teamliquid.net, the Head Coach of Monster Gaming, a rather unknown team until it recruited a polemical player, had his contact info as administrator of a well known elo boost website. Furthermore, the money payed for the boosting services would go to the Head Coach Kim-Jin's bank account.

The lineup that  k1ck.lol will be presenting at this XLParty Pombal edition is a debut in our Club when it comes to offline events. After splitting the team in two, the players from the first announced K1ck team have travelled to Pombal yesterday and although some unexpected problems with the hardware came into the picture, everything was settled and the first game was played early in the morning. Winning all of the disputed games in Group 1, we are now moving into the playoffs, once again as first in the group.

** UPDATE **

Due to the several net related problems with players constantly dropping from the servers, the XLParty organization took the decision to let the teams play the losers bracket at home and the grand final, where K1ck is sitting comfortably waiting for an opponent, will be played in.... December at the XLParty FIL edition.

In a unexpected move, the League of Legends player Extinkt has left the Ninjas in Pyjamas team for personal reasons, less than a month after he has joined the organization. The Solo Top decision has caught NiP by surprise as they are still looking for a replacement that will probably be soon announced, although they have candidates for the position in the roster such as Dan "Godbro" Van Vo.
