Today our  K1ck League of Legends team will be disputing the Dreamhack Valencia 2013 qualifier, trying to get a pass to the final stage of the competition. Twenty teams will be competing against each other and as usual, we can find some well known names in the community among them. Our games will be streamed live in our K1ck Twitch Channel by Xyeh starting at 11h00, according to the organization's schedule and brackets, although we still have to wait for the outcome of the  Dimension eSports vs BornEliteHumans match to know our first opponent.

Sometimes a League of Legends match doesn't go on as smoothly as you predicted, with players throwing offensive comments at each other for some stupid reason. In the end, all is quickly forgotten, everybody disconnects from that game and goes on to the next one, hoping to have better teammates. Well, this isn't the case of the 19-year-old Justin Carter that found himself in jail after responding to another player’s comment on facebook.

League of Legends and Starcraft II are among the games that will be featured in this year's World Cyber Games edition. Although the current WCG event does not have the same prestige in the eSports world as it had some years ago, one can't help wonder where is Counter-Strike Global Offensive, as according to Brad Lee, CEO of World Cyber Games, Inc., organizer of WCG: "This year WCG selected world's most popular titles across every genre in competitive gaming today. WCG values gamer feedback and we have determined that the announced titles are among the most popular and challenging titles available today."

A new League of Legends cinematic has been released by Riot Games on YouTube, featuring some of the many amazing champions that wander off in Summoner's Rift. Impressive as always, the guys over at Riot have been hard at work for the last year in order to bring this new cinematic to life and I have to say, it was worth it.
