One of the strongest names in the eSports world has returned to Halo on Xbox 360, incorporating a new team built around former apeX player Andrew "Ramirez" Corrigan. Being the new SK.halo team captain, he gathered some old friends and very well-known faces in the Halo community, making a strong team once again.

On December 8th starts the 2011 edition of the World Cyber Games that will take place in Busan and the K1ck eSports Club player João Cavaco will attend the Tekken 6 competition. Having a task at hands that can not be qualified as easy, the draw placed him in Group D along with 5 more players, featuring one of the Japan representatives at the Tekken 6 tournament.

The group stage has already been disputed and it was with no surprise that we've seen both representatives from  Japan and  South Korea get into the playoffs. k1ck-João Cavaco ended his participation in Group D with 2 victories and 3 defeats, finishing 4th.

Halo has been around for ages but if you look back and count how many years you have been playing the game, the answer is 10. That is, if you have played it from scratch, as 343 Industries and Microsoft Game Studios are celebrating its 10th Anniversary by releasing the official launch trailer for the remake of old Bungie game Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo: Anniversary will be published on November the 15th but in the meantime, check out the video:

On September the 20th, invited by Microsoft Portugal, four elements of the K1ck Gears of War team attended a presentation where some exclusive games for the Microsoft console were shown to the audience. The highlight was obviously Gears of War 3, published in that very same day, but also Halo: Anniversary and Forza Motorsport 4 were available in a playable format.

A short while ago, the Tekken 6 final at the World Cyber Games Portuguese qualifier has come to an end with João Cavaco from K1ck eSports Club grabbing the victory and a ticket to  Busan in South Korea. It was a busy weekend for our player but now he will be facing the best players in the world in December at the WCG Finals.
