Now that the big Counter-Strike tournaments are on the horizon, K1ck have made the final change in the roster before ESWC. Closing the circle, Pedro "GrIng0" Garcia, winner of the last WCG in 2007 with K1ck, is back to the team after a period without playing CS.

There is an article over at Gamasutra referring four grad students that created 50 games in one semester. The piece presents their insights about game design, evaluating gameplay and whatever makes a fun game.

K1ck eSports Club website was already published in two languages, English and Portuguese, but from now on we will also be publishing the news in a third language, the Spanish/Castilian.

With this new improvement in the website, K1ck gave answer to some of the requests that we've been receiving lately, asking for different versions of the news in different languages.

During last week, K1ck eSports Club Divisions suffered some changes in some rosters. Starting with the major move, our Call Of Duty 4 team got two new members, well known players in the CoD community, Tiago "mow" Rodrigues and João "pax" Pacheco.

The eagerly awaited Grand Theft Auto IV was at last released and hundreds of people kept their place in line, all around the world, to be the first to have the game. The K1ck eSports Club will be attending the Lleida LanParty with two teams, Counter-Strike Source and Call Of Duty 4, and the usual staff that goes along with the players. The teams have already made the arrangements in order to travel to Lleida, near Barcelona and have a go at the prize money in dispute.

We have also invited people from the Lan Party organization to answer a few questions about the event and give us an oversight of it all.

As of today, Joaquim "axoN" Pinto will be playing for K1ck eSports Club Counter-Strike team. With the forthcoming inactivity of two of our players, we have chosen one of the best CS players in Portugal to fill the gap.

Now that the group stage is over at Clanbase's Eurocup XVII CoD4 and UT competitions, different destinations await for our teams.

K1ck.cod4 goes to the playoffs winning every match in Group B, K1ck.cod4 will also be in the playoffs after getting the second spot in Group D and K1ck.ut ended the participation in this EC edition after getting the third spot at Group B.

The QuakeCon Website announces that QuakeCon 2008 will take place July 31-August 3, 2008 in Dallas, TX at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. More info on this year's id Software annual gaming festival in this news.
