Version 2.60 is the latest version for the World War II multiplayer shooter from id and Splash Damage, Enemy Territory.
Adding up to the same stuff as always (patches for the Win32 and Linux versions and a full Linux installer), a MacOS installer can be found, for the first time. |

According to Reuters, the British publishing company has been sold. "Video games maker Eidos has agreed a 71 million pounds cash offer from a unit of U.S. private equity company Elevation Partners LP, the firms say.
The offer price was 50 pence per Eidos share, a premium of nearly five pence on their Monday closing price of 44 3/4 pence." |

Blizzard just announced that its latest video game (and first MMO), World of Warcraft reached 1.5 millions of subscribers world-wide. On a press release they point out that "Blizzard's MMORPG achieves unprecedented global success and sets new milestone". |

Will we finally see DNF coming out this year ? Sources say that 3DRealms will show one of the most-waited game in the near future, maybe during the E3 2005 event.
Although the release date is still the same, "When It's Done", "Things are going well and we'll be showing the game in the not terribly distant future". |

Again some more Warcraft III accounts were closed, this time due to "Gold Farming". Lol ?
Blizzard closed over one thousand accounts, as they promised they would do, related to ppl that actually farmed gold. Not for fun, not because they were compulsive maniacs, but to trade it for real money. |

The first DOOM 3 DM bot, SABot (Stupid Angry Bot), is now available for download.
SABot is an offline Deathmatch Bot for Doom III that won't eat, won't sleep, absolutely will not stop, until it does something stupid. ^^ |

Due to Ladder abuse, Blizzard closed approximately 4,000 Warcraft III accounts. They registered various abuses including the use of "loss bots".
Keeping an aggressive stance against cheating of all kind, they will continue to "ensure that the Battle.net ladders are a fair and safe place to play Warcraft III". |
