| Holidays are here :). So
much for the ugly soldiers mugs and firing rockets. Beach rulez :) After a 12-0 defeat on Germany with an average ping of 471!!!, we have tried everything we've got to turn the match around. Playing on a 3-7 tactic, sometimes with a 2-8 ( I even wondered from time to time if there was anyone defending, ehehe ), we won 11-4 but it wasn't enough to win the match... Anyway, a good result at home on a hard map to attack. |

| Nice Win against WK...Poor Defeat against GunSLingers |

| After a good win against
WeedKillers ( we have only played the first leg on our opponents' server and won, they
forfeited the 2nd one :), we had a dreadful defeat against GunSLingers. Starting the away match with 6 players, we ended up with 9 on a 10x10 and a heavy defeat. It was really hard to play with a 367 average ping against the 42 of our opponents..The home match, we have won 4-0 but it was not good enough to turn the match around. Since lots of players only belong to K1ck
to say that they are in a good clan, and then never show up to the matches, Bambu, Diesel,
Absinto, Telekom and AL Capone were Some changes in functions also. Nitro is the new Match Coordinator and MDK the new Mailing List Manager. We need good players but also players that show up for the matches. So, hunting and recruiting season is open... |

| We Won!! Starting ME IGL with the right foot! |

| We have beaten clan
>X< on our first match in the ME IGL. After a first leg in Germany where we have
lost 4-1 playing with 9 against 10, our hopes seemed to go up in smoke when we realized
that even with trainees, we couldn't get more than the first leg 9 players for the second
one. But the best part was still to come. With a spectacular turn over, we won 11-0 on our home, achieving a good win. Thursday we had a match against S3X and after a good 2fort5 start that led us to a 3-2 advantage, giving the impression that this time things could be different, we have lost 5-3. The 3-0 defeat in the 2nd leg Well6 was a hard one, since not only once did our attack get the flag. |

On a short meeting, we have
decided by unanimity to promote [M]Finger to the Member Status. And by unanimity also,
ex-Trainees Alladin, Teknick and ex-Member Soul were  for not having the qualities required to be a K1ck Member.A yellow card was also shown to Trainees Bambu and Rommel7. Remember, we love swinging the axe... Congratulations [M]Finger and welcome aboard!!! |

| Good Win, Poor Attitude from NWQ |

| On a disputed 1st leg match against NWQ, K1ck
won 2-0, 357-213. The 2nd leg was destined not to be played. NWQ elements ( at least
Crominho ) asked the ADMIN for a changed rcon. And since the rcon was changed, they were
the only team with access to it. They configured the server and the match started. On a rather defensive match, K1ck's first cap made the difference. And suddendly, the problems started. We capped for the 2nd time and the NWQ were about to cap for the 1st time ( but never did ) when the match ended. Checking the players' time, we all could see that the timelimit had probably been set ( server configured by Crominho as the logs prove it ) to 30 instead of 35 due to the 5min PM. Even if they had capped, the result would be 2-1, 357-293, so they would be losing anyway. Accusations and insults from their side, showing a poor losers attitude, stopped the match from going on. The conflict stopped right here because Boggie cleared things up on a mail to the Portuguese Quake List with the server's logs, showing that Crominho configured the server and that there was never a rcon command issued during the match. | Another Win Against FU |

| On a 1 leg match, K1ck won against FU by 5-2.
At the end of the 2fort5 match everybody had the feeling that we could have done a better
job. The defense conceded two caps and the attack was everything but brilliant. Well, at least we won. Let's hope that the Thursday match ends up in a better way, since NWQ are a "tougher customer" :) |

| SE IGL under New Admin and 1000 Hits!!! |

| SE IGL has a new Administrator - Me :). After
some contacts with Italian and Spanish clans, let's hope SE IGL becomes a real
international league. So far, only Portuguese clans play there. Any SE clans interested in joining in, please contact me. YES! We've gone past the 1000 hits barrier.... |

| On a Full-Member meeting, we have decided to
promote Dr. Nice to the Full-Member status and Penetrator to the Member status. Congrats both of you for your efforts to improve the clan. |

| Still leading SE IGL |
| 1st April 1999 |
| After a 10x10 with lots of ringers on our
opponent's side, we have played a very disappointing 8x6 on our match against LA. The result ( well6 - 12-2 and 5-0 to our side ) was the least important since everyone was wishing for the match to come to an end... Let's hope we can schedule a better one against LA next time. Anyway, we're still in the lead of the SE IGL... On a final note, thanks to Rainlord and 5Q for letting us use our server on their training night. |
